This versatile deep tillage, seedbed preparation
and fertilizer application machine does just what the name implies. The 1tRIPr
is a time proven product with years of service. The 1tRIPr will work equally
well for an Iowa strip-till enthusiast or a Kansas pivot farmer. The unique
tooling combination allows the 1tRIPr to follow the old rows, however, the
incredible trash handling capabilities allows the farmer to change row direction
at will. "Perhaps most exciting for me," states designer Lynn Flaming,
"is the
way the corn comes up in standing wheat stubble." "Eco fallow corn production is
probably the most profitable thing on our farm, and the 1tRIPr provides that
perfect stand of corn farmers have been looking for." The 1tRIPr is available
either as a stand-alone strip-til machine for the corn soybean rotation market
in Iowa and Illinois, or as a one-trip
seedbed planting system
for the pivot farmer of the high plains. Truly versatile is the best description

Trash handling: |
This machine handles trash like nothing before it. One farmer observing it in the field stated "this thing manages trash." Trash, or crop residue is a resource and should be viewed as such. The real eye opener for us has been the dryland or "eco-fallow" corn. If we can raise 120 - 130 bushel dryland corn, think what adding a little water will do. The secret is residue management. The 1tRIPr should never be confused with no-til. Actually, lots of tillage is taking place in the seeding band, with the end result being a firm, clean, well tilled seed-bed. |

Fertilizer placement: |
The machine is designed to allow the precision placement of starter fertilizer to the side and below the seed without additional fertilizer attachments to the planter. |

Versatility: |
Unlike a ridge-til planter that only works if you have a ridge, the 1tRIPr has worked well in every condition we have introduced it to. From tilled ground in preparation for dry-beans, to strictly undisturbed corn-stalks, the 1tRIPr will always produce a planter ready seedbed. |
